It's not hard so much as it is difficult. Sometimes you do need a bit of strength to get the belt on the right way. A long screwdriver could help you out.

not really it either has a tensioner to keep the belt tight, which you push it back and it gives you slack on the belt to pull it off, or it's held tight by the alternator. If your alternator has a bracket that looks like it has an arch that the bolt sits in then you loosen that bolt and the others holding it, and that will give you slack from the belt.
with none of that stuff, it should be a cinch to change.
