How do you change the serpentine belt on a 1997 Jeep Wrangler, 4.0L, I-6, with a/c?
Unlock and loosen the tensioner pulley. Take a picture of the front of the engine, noting the routing of the belt. Take old belt off, put new belt on. Tighten the tensioner, and tighten the lock bolt.

Just like %26quot;E-Rock%26quot; said. Its not that hard to do. I ended up replacing the entire cooling system in my Jeep last summer and I ended up taking that belt off and on numerous times.



If you need a belt diagram there should be a sticker on the (factory) radiator. If the sticker is missing the belt diagram is very easy to google on the internet.
