There will be an idler wheel (a pulley that can be loosened and moved) to losen the belt. Then replace it, pry the idler wheel back tight (1/4%26quot; give to the belt) and tighten the bolt that locks it in place.

Other than that, losen and shift the alternator to one side to get the old belt off and the new one on.

Good luck!

If it is a V6 , you will have to remove the engine mount to replace it.Look at the little black shield over the serp belt, there's a diagram on it, I believe
There may still be a diagram on a sticker under the hood, it is there from the factory. Usually near the front by the radiator. You will need a tool to ease tension on the Idler Pulley assembly. No other tools needed. Follow the diagram to install new belt.
You can call your dealership and they can print you one out for free and maybe even e mail it to you. If not you can pick it up. P.S. Have you asked Jeeves yet?
It's easy there is just a tension arm that you have to pull back with a screw driver or something and put it on.Just make a mental reminder of the old belt .Goodluck.
