I have found the tension pulley -but when I loosen bolt nothing happens-what next?

You push on the tension pulley, don't have to loosen the bolt, all that bolt does is hold the pulley on. Look in the front of the panels under the hood for the map or the routing of the belt. It is pretty simple to do. Do not try and force the belt on with a screwdriver, you will ruin the belt and they are not cheap.

you dont loosen it!
most tension pulleys have small squares cut out of them for the ratchet to fit in to then you push or pull on it to release pressure then slide the belt off.
its in plain site or behind it.
its got a spring inside that keeps tension on the belt, you relieve it with a ratchet. good luck
